JAMMU, Sept 13: The dead body of an unidentified man of age about 40-45 years was recovered today from Roop Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the dead body of an unknown man appears to be a ‘Sadhu’ was spotted this evening along Aap Shambhu Road in Roop Nagar area falling within the jurisdiction of police station Janipur by some passersby. He said that the dead body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification and post mortem.
A case in this connection was registered at police station Janipur, where police has started inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPc.
