SRINAGAR: A policeman was injured when unidentified gunmen on Friday allegedly attacked senior Congress leader and Anantnag Municipal Committee chairman Hilal Ahmad Shah in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
Official sources said that Personal Security Officer (PSO) of Mr Shah was wounded when unidentified gunmen allegedly attacked the Municipal Committee chairman at Town Hall in Anantnag on Friday. “The injured, identified as Arshad, was immediately taken to a hospital,” they said, adding the gunmen managed to escape from the spot during the chaos created due to the firing.
