JAMMU, Sept 25: The dead body of an unidentified man of age about 35 years was recovered today from Sidhra area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a partially decomposed dead body of an unknown man was spotted late this morning by some locals on the bank of river Tawi opposite Sainik School, Nagrota.
He said that the dead body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification and post mortem.
A case in this connection was registered at concerned police station, where police has started inquest proceedings under section 174CrPc.
