JAMMU, Aug 11: The dead body of an unidentified man was recovered today from Ranbir Canal near CID Office.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of unknown male of age about 55-60 years was spotted this afternoon in a canal by some locals, who informed the police.
On getting information, a police team from police post Canal Road immediately reached the spot fished out the body from the canal and shifted it to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station. According to the police, the man was wearing a white coloured undershirt and grey pajama.
