JAMMU, Dec 30: The dead body of an unidentified male aged about 35-40 years was found today in Nikki Tawi near Toph Manhasan area falling under the jurisdiction of police post Flaien Mandaal.
According to a police spokesperson, some locals spotted the body in Nikki Tawi at about 2 pm and informed the police.
On getting information, a team from police post Flaien Mandaal led by In-charge SI, Sumit Magotra reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for identification and other legal formalities.
A case in this regard has been registered and further investigation started.
An unidentified body of an old man was also found lying in suspicious circumstances near clock room here at Bus Stand, yesterday.
According to a police spokesperson, a male dead body aged about 70-75 years was found in front of clock room at Bus Stand.
On getting information, a team from police station, Bus Stand led by SHO, SI Bhushan Manhas reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for identification and other legal formalities.
A case in this regard has been registered and further investigation started
