UNI Srinagar office broken into

SRINAGAR, Aug 19:
Unidentified persons broke into the office of United News of India (UNI) located at high security zone in the summer capital, Srinagar.
During the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, the miscreants broke open locks of several rooms of the news agency’s office located at 3 Exchange road, Srinagar.
Some of the drawers were also found unlocked and the documents and files opened. The incident came to light when the staff of the office reported to work on Sunday morning.
However, nothing was found missing, as per initial reports.
A formal complaint was lodged in police station Kothi Bagh.
Meanwhile, a team of police officials, headed by Station House Officer (SHO) of the concerned police station, visited the office. (UNI)
