KATHUA, Aug 4: An under trail lodged in Sub District Jail Hiranagar in murder case died of a heart attack in the Jail this morning.
He has been identified as Pankaj Gupta, 40, son of Subash Chander Gupta, resident of Sarain Mohalla , Pathankot, Punjab. He was in Sub District Jail, Hiranagar facing trail in murder case for last nine years. He complained of serious pain in chest during the morning and was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Hiranagar. But the doctor declared him as brought dead. The body was kept in hospital for postmortem. The police has started investigation into the matter.
