MENDHAR, June 5: Ultrasound machine is lying out of order for the last over three months in Sub-District Hospital Mendhar and the general public is suffering a lot.
Hospital sources said that ultrasound machine installed in the Mendhar Hospital is non-functional for the last more than three months now. Due to this problem, the patients are forced to move to Surankote, Poonch or Rajouri for the tests. The Health Department was sleeping over the matter.
It said that the bath rooms of the hospital have been locked by the administration and patients and attendants are forced to move out for the natural call. In case of power cuts during night, the power generator is not run by the staff and patients burn candles at their own in the wards. This is happening since long and the hospital administration is least bothered over the issue.
