SRINAGAR, Mar 15: Empl-oyees of Urban Local Bodies today held a protest to press for their long pending demands.
Under the banner of Urban Local Bodies Employees United Forum, ULB employees from across the Valley raised anti-Government slogans to protest the “delay in redressal” of their problems.
The protesters shouted slogans in favor of their demands including release of pending wages and DA, framing seniority list, release of GP Fund cases and end of political interference in the transfer of daily wagers.
The protesting employee also criticized the “high handedness” and “authoritative role” of the president and urged the Government to post a new officer in his place.
