UIET class work at own campus from this session

JAMMU, June 12: From this session, class work in University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) will be conducted from the Kathua Campus in Janglote as the UIET building is likely to be handed over to the Jammu University within next two months.
“With the admission of the students in the Civil Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering batch during the current session 2018-19, the class work would be conducted from the Kathua Campus as the UIET building being constructed at Janglote is expected to be handed over to the University in the month of August 2018,” informed Prof Naresh Padha, Rector, Kathua Campus and Co-ordinator, UIET.
He further disclosed that preparations have been also made to resume the class work at Janglote.
Pertinent to mention that the class work of B Tech. programme of UIET of the 2017-18 batch was conducted from the Faculty House, University of Jammu as a time gap arrangement.
Prof Naresh Padha also informed that online applications are being invited for admission to the Computer Science & Engineering and Civil Engineering in UIET for the session 2018-19.
Commencing from June 18, 2018 last date for online submission of application form is July 10 while July 16 is the last date for submission of forms with late fee of Rs 110.
The first list of selected candidates will be notified on the website on July 19 while second list will be notified on July 23. The list of candidates selected under Reserved category will be notified on July 26.
