AWANTIPORA : Acting on a specific information, Awantipora Police and security forces arrested two terror associates at Ladhoo Crossing when the duo were travelling on Scooty from Shopian to Khrew, during wee hours, today.
The arrested persons have been identified as Rayees-ul-Hassan resident of Gadikhal Awantipora and
Mushtaq Ahmad Mir resident of Dadsara Awantipora.
Incriminating material of proscribed outfit Al-Bader have been recovered from their possession which includes Rs six Lakh ( six lakh only) Indian currency meant for terror funding of Al-Bader outfit.
The Scooty bearing registration number JK01AC- 4035 used for the commission of crime has also been seized.
A case FIR number 55/2020 under relevant sections of Unlawful Activities Act has been registered in Police Station Khrew . Further investigation is going on.
