KISHTWAR, May 3: Police here today arrested two notorious drug smugglers Jahangir Hussain and Asif Iqbal and searched their houses.
In this connection a case in FIR no. 98/23 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS has been registered and investigation was going on.
Names of these narco smugglers surfaced in many other cases of drug peddling during the course of investigation wherein they turned out to be kingpin of narco trade in Kishtwar which spoiled many youth of the area.
SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal while sharing details said that Kishtwar Police is working on multipronged strategy to deal with the problem of drug abuse.
