Two narco-smugglers nabbed with heroin, sharp edged weapon

JAMMU, Aug 6: Miran Sahib Police nabbed two narcotics smugglers along with heroin and sharp edged weapons.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta laid a naka and intercepted two persons, who were coming from Miran Sahib towards Kirpind.
On seeing cops, the persons tried to escape, but were chased and over powered.
During checking, police team recovered 5 grams heroin and one sharp edged weapon from the possession of these persons and arrested them.
The accused were identified as Arjun Kumar and Ashok Kumar, son of Bodh Raj of Phinder District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 89/2022 under sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act and,4/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
