Two members of inter-state narcotic gang nabbed

JAMMU, Oct 25: City police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ nabbed two members of an inter-state narcotic gang and over 900 banned injections were seized from their possession.
As per police spokesman, a team from City police station during checking intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police recovered 915 banned injections from the possession of rider and his associate.
One of the arrested youth belongs to Jammu and the other is a native of Delhi and had come to Jammu to deliver the consignment.
A case under FIR Number 55/16 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against them at police station Bus Stand and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bus Stand Inspector Abid Rafiqi made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Vivek Shekhar and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
