JAMMU, Sept 2: Two persons were killed today in two separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the cleaner of a truck was crushed to death under his own vehicle after he fell from it at Parmandal Morh in city outskirts. He said that the deceased has been identified as Amit Kumar (24) son of Tirath Ram, a resident of Mathera (Hiranagar).
He said that a case in this connection was registered at police station Gangyal and the truck bearing registration number JK2T-8611 involved in the mishap seized. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem.
At Slamachak in RS Pura, a truck hit a bike and injured its rider namely Ankush Kumar son of Natha Ram. The injured man was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared as brought dead. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem while a case in this connection was registered at police station RS Pura.
