Srinagar, Dec 13: Two persons were killed in different road accidents.
A police spokesman said a driver was killed when a truck JK02AP/7246 collided with a Brio vehicle at Sesmon, Damjan in Kulgam. The Brio driver Raju Singh Chib son of Kartar Singh of Muthi, Jammu, died on the spot.
An Eco bearing registration number JK01U/0457 on way from Tangdhar to Kupwara rolled down into a deep gorge at Upper Zarla mode near Sadhna, Kupwara, resulting in on spot death of the driver Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Lassu, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Garden Lane Chanapora, Srinagar. The body of the deceased was retrieved from the gorge.
Police has registered cases in these accidents, the spokesman said.
