Srinagar, Aug 13: Two persons were killed while as two others sustained injuries in an accident in Galander area of Pampore in district Pulwama today.
The accident took place when a dumper vehicle and a Swift car collided with each other resulting in a tragic accident.
Officials said that a car collided with a dumper vehicle (JK03F-8232) near Galander. They said that reason behind the accident is being ascertained.
Two persons were killed in the accident and one of the deceased was identified as Raja Ahmad (20) S/o Jameel Ahmad. The identity of the second was not ascertained yet.
Two more people who suffered injuries were identified as Rafakat Ahmad (25) son of Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Awantipora and Mashooq Ahmad Khanday son of Mohammad Ramzan, a resident of Kulgam.
Both the injured have been hospitalized and are said to be stable.
