JAMMU, June 10: Two persons were killed when the car they were travelling in plunged into canal near Marallian area here, police sources said.
The deceased were identified as Inderpal alias Lovely, son of Kar Singh and Balvinder Kumar alias Chotu, son of Preetam Chand, both residents of Partap Singh Pura Lalyana Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
After conducting post-mortem at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, the bodies were handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
