Two killed as Alto car hits divider

JAMMU, July 15: Two persons were killed, when the Alto car they were traveling in, collided with a divider near TCP Nagrota.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02AV-7438 was on its way to Udhampur from Jammu, when the driver lost control over the steering and the vehicle collided with divider near TCP Nagrota, resulting into on the spot death of two persons.
After getting information, police team led by SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after conducting autopsy, the bodies were handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
The deceased have been identified as Goutam Singh, son of Sardool Singh of Bajalta and Riaz Mohammad, son of Abdul Majid of Mastgarh Jammu.
A case under FIR number 141/15 under Section 279 and 304-A RPC has been registered at Nagrota police station and investigation started.
