Two kidnapping cases solved

JAMMU, Jan 31: Miran Sahib Police today claimed to have solved kidnapping cases of two minor girls and arrested the kidnappers.
“Acting on two different complaints lodged at Police Station Miran Sahib regarding kidnapping of two minor girls, two different cases under FIR Number 17/2023 and FIR Number 19/2023 U/S 363/IPC was registered and investigation started,” a police spokesman said.
He said during investigation, special teams of Police Station Miran Sahib formed under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mustaq did hectic efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally traced both the missing minor girls.
“Two accused namely Anil Choudhary alias Vika son of Ajar Chand, resident of Nari (RS Pura, Jammu) and Shubham Sharma son of Sudesh Kumar, resident of Round Mail Dhar Road (Udhampur) involved in kidnapping of the minor girls were also arrested,” he said, adding, subsequently, traced girls were handed over to their legal heirs after completing all the legal formalities.
