Srinagar : Two Indian Reserve Police (IRP) men were shot dead in North Kashmir’s frontier district of Kupwara in by masked militants this morning today.
Police said two masked militants came in a car and shot dead two IRP men of 13th battalion, Azad Chand and Santosh Kumar men who were on duty in Handwara town bus stand.
Police and army launched a massive operation against the militants responsible for the killing of two police men.
