KISHTWAR, Jan 25: Two persons got injured, when the Maruti car they were traveling in turned turtle near Kandani area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar police station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02P-5371 was on its way to Kishtwar from Thathri, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it turned turtle, resulting into injuries to two persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Farooq Ahmed, son of Johan Mohammad, a resident of Gurian and Abdul Qayoom, son of Ghulam Qadir of Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 22/16 under Section 279 and 337 RPC has been registered at Kishtwar police station and investigation started.
