JAMMU, Aug 23: Jammu Police has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered around 41 grams of heroin-like substance during a naka checking operation in Narwal.
A police team from Police Post Narwal intercepted two suspects near Railway Pulli. They were identified as Aashiq Hussain of Anantnag, presently residing at Sidhra Majeen, Jammu, and Raj Mohd of Samba.
On search, the contraband was recovered from their possession. A case under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and further investigation is underway.
