KATHUA, May 13: Two individuals were arrested with 7.22 grams of heroin-like substance from Galak Ramkot area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Billawar today, officials said.
The accused, identified as Sidharth of Mandli, Kathua and Davinder Kumar of Makwal, tehsil Ramkot, Kathua were arrested by a team of Police Post Ramkot during checking at Galak area, they said.
Accordingly, the duo has been booked in case FIR number 87/2026 under sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Billawar and further investigation taken up, officials said.
According to them, a vehicle used by the accused individuals has also been seized.
