JAMMU, Feb 17: Bus Stand police today arrested two persons for assaulting and injuring a man.
“The arrested persons were identified as Raj Kumar alias Dahla Pradhan son of Lt Satbir Kumar of Kabir Basti (Jammu) and Rakesh Kumar alias Sethi son of Late Krishan Lal, resident of Bhim Nagar (BC Road, Jammu),” police sources said.
They said the accused badly thrashed a person namely Pawan Singh son of Late Shankar Singh, resident of BC Road Jammu near Shiv Temple, this afternoon. The injured man was shifted to Government Hospital Sarwal for medical treatment, they said, adding, a case FIR Number 04/2022 under Sections 341/323/506 of IPC was registered in this connection at police station Bus Stand and further investigation started.
The arrest was made by a police team led by SHO Bus Stand Inspector Deepankar Singh.
