RAJOURI, Jan 2: Kalakote police today arrested two persons for bovine smuggling bid.
“While on patrol duty at village Potha, a team of Kalakote police arrested two persons namely Mohd Muzaffar (26) son of Khadam Hussain of Khadarian and Mohd Shabir (24) son of Gulab Deen of Balakote (Mendhar),” police sources said.
They said that the accused persons were trying to smuggle two oxen towards Rajouri on foot. Police rescued the animals and subsequently registered a case FIR number 01/2022 against them under relevant sections of law.
