JAMMU, July 29: Two persons were arrested today from Bantalab area of city outskirts with 22 grams of Heroin.
According to a police spokesman, two persons namely Akhilesh sharma son of Vipin Sharma, resident of Ward No 2, Indra Nagar Udhampur and Sheikh Tasleem Arif son of Javed Ahmed, resident of Nardani (Raipur) were arrested this evening along with 22 grams of Heroin from Keran Morh in Bantalab area under the jurisdiction of police post Chinore.
He said a case under FIR No 234/2016 under Section 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at police station Domana against both the accused and further investigation is going on.
The arrest was made by Incharge, police post, chinore, Sub Inspector Vikram Manhas under the supervision of SHO Domana, Inspector Rajeshwar Singh, officiating SDPO Domana, Gurinderpal Singh and SP Rural, Arun Gupta.
