JAMMU, Aug 14: Domana police today booked two persons for gambling and recovered stake money of Rs 7590 from their possession.
Taking serious cognizance of the several complaints received by the police about gambling in the area, a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Tilak Raj Sharma during raided the gambling place in Purkhoo area and apprehended two persons namely Amanat Mashi son of Meeta Mashi of Gumpul (Domana) and Sunil Singh son of Sukhdev Singh, resident of Purkhoo (Domana).
During raid, playing cards and stake money of Rs 7590 was recovered from accused. In this regard, cognizance U/S 13 Gambling Act has been taken by Police Station Domana.
