JAMMU, July 30: Two drug peddlers were arrested with 5 grams of heroin from RS Pura area here today.
A police spokesperson said that a team of RS Pura Police Station led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna assisted by SHO RS Pura Inspector Pawan Kumar and ASI Devi Dutta, while on naka duty near Nagra Palace, Baspur Road, RS Pura, apprehended two suspects identified as Honey Kumar of Ward Number 8, RS Pura, and Suresh Kumar of Ward Number 7, RS Pura, Jammu.
“On their search, 5 grams of heroin was recovered,” he said.
The accused have been booked in case FIR number 109/2023 under sections 8/21/22/29/60 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation taken up.
