UDHAMPUR, Feb 3: Continuing its drive to contain the spread of narcotic drugs & psychotropic substances, Udhampur police today seized 18 grams of contraband substance (heroin) from two drug peddlers at Circular Road and Dandyal, Udhampur.
12 grams of Heroin like substance was recovered from Rakesh Kumar of Kambal Danga, Udhampur when he was intercepted near Circular Road while six grams of Heroin was recovered from the possession of Vinod Singh of Chatha, Jammu, who was arrested from Dandyal.
The arrests were made by SHO Udhampur Inspector Vijay Choudhary and in both the cases, FIR under relevant sections have been registered.
