RAMBAN, Mar 6: Khari Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered cannabis from their possession.
As per police sources, during routine patrolling duty a team from Police Post Khari intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 37 grams cannabis from the possession of the persons and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Showket Ahmed Naik, son of Abdul Rehman Naik and Munwar Ahmed Naik, son of Ghulam Rasool Naik, both residents of Mahoo, Tehsil Khari, District Ramban.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Banihal and investigation started.
