Two days workshop in JU

JAMMU, Aug 28: To further upgrade the employability quotient of the students, Dean of Student Placements invited Praxis El Training and Consulting Pvt Ltd, Delhi, who have been country’s leading  provider of activity-enabled experiential learning in the corporate and education sectors.
The students got thoroughly exposed to the employability determinants viz. competencies and behavioural attributes. They were enabled to self-assess their employability skills through a seven part test and were given a psychometric test to increase the awareness of their behavioural orientations.
The visiting team, comprising of Kumar Abhishek, DV Slharma, Qaisar Rashid Bhat and Vandana Sinha, were able to engage the students’ minds and also counsel them each on the practical application of the test outcomes in each case, thereby rendering the entire exercise a higher relevance and utility for the benefit of the students planning their future careers.
Students from MBA, MBIB, MBHT, MCA, MA Economics, M Com and MSc Biotechnology, and also students from off side campuses both from Kathua and Ramnagar also participated in this workshop conducted by Praxis EL as a CSR ‘Abhiyaan’ initiative and  the same workshop was organised and thereafter  concluded at Bhaderwah Campus of the University of Jammu.
