RAJOURI, Sept 14: Two-day Tech Fest Alfresco Fiesta (The Engineer’s Carnival) organized by the School of Engineering and Technology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) commenced today.
Prof Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor of the University, inaugurated the fest. Prof. Akbar applauded the efforts of the students and faculty of SOET in organizing the event.
While interacting with students, Prof Akbar said that such events would help the students in displaying their knowledge, skills and creativity. The Vice-Chancellor exhorted the students to work hard and learn the latest technological trends to become future leaders.
On both days, this technical extravaganza would be filled with numerous activities such as workshops, technical events and cultural events organized by the various departments of the School of Engineering and Technology.
Those who were present on the occasion included Dean Academic Affairs Prof Iqbal Parwez, Heads of various departments and officers of the University.
