RAJOURI, Mar 28: Taking yet another step towards providing better placement opportunities to the students of BGSB University in particular and other colleges and institutes of Rajouri and Poonch in general, the Training & Placement Cell in collaboration with NSDC, New Delhi, started a two-day Mega Placement Drive at its campus.
HR officials of more than 10 corporates started the interview processes, which will continue on March 29. The Placement drive was open for final semester students of all the disciplines of University. Apart from the University students, a large number of students from nearby colleges and institutes took part in the drive.
Prof Javed Mussrat. Vice Chancellor BGSBU, visited the venue during the day and interacted with the HR officials of various companies and encouraged the participating students. He said that such activities have to be a regular feature of the University. He further added that 100 percent Placements of the students of various departments was his aim for which he has already directed the Training and Placement Cell.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof M Asgar, Dean of Students. emphasized on the importance of campus placements. He assured the corporates that they will get best quality students from BGSBU. The event was organized by Training and Placement cell headed by Dr Sameer Raina.
