Two cops suspended for threatening tourists

SRINAGAR, May 20: Two policemen were suspended today  for harassing  tourists at Sangam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police team which had established naka at Sangam stopped a tourist vehicle and allegedly harassed them without any reasons. The tourist bound vehicle was travelling from Mumbai to Kashmir when they were stopped by the police team at Sangam.
The tourists approached the police authorities in the district complained about the cops and authorities after receiving a written complaint from the tourists launched the investigations which found the two cops, Head Constable Mohammad Yousf (Belt No. 35/Ang) and Constable Mudasir Ahmad (belt no. 1874) guilty.They were placed under suspension.
