JAMMU, Dec 1: Two youths tried to end their life by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences.
According to a police spokesperson, Ravi Sharma son of Milkhi Ram, a resident of Doda allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his temporary residence in Trikuta Nagar. He was immediately shifted to Gandhi Nagar Hospital, from where later he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu. His condition is stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
A young girl namely Mehnaz Akhter (21) daughter of Abdul Majeed, a resident of Gursei in Mendhar also consumed some poisonous substance following which she was rushed to GMCH Jammu. Her condition is also stable.
In both the cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
