JAMMU, Oct 10: Two persons today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in city outskirts.
According to police sources, a married woman namely Rajni Devi (37) wife of Subhash Chander, resident of Burachak (Phlian Mandaal), today allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
In another case, a young girl namely Kiran Kumari (24) daughter of Ramesh Kumar, resident of Santra Morh (Gho Manhasan) consumed some poisonous substance at her residence after which she was shifted to GMCH Jammu.
The condition of both persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
