Two bovines rescued, one arrested

JAMMU, Mar 18: Arnia police rescued two bovine animals and arrested a smuggler from Salaher area.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Arnia police station laid a naka and intercepted a person carrying two bovine animals on foot.
During questioning, the person failed to give satisfactory reply and was arrested on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Rashpal Chand, son of Girdhari Lal, a resident of Village Tlota, District Samba.
A case under FIR Number 16/16 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Arnia police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Arnia police station Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters RC Kotwal.
