Two bovine smugglers held

JAMMU, July 11: Police today rescued four bovine animals and arrested two smugglers from Chinore, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Chinore Police Post led by SI Rakesh Manni laid a naka and intercepted a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK02U-5636.
During checking, police recovered four bovine animals and arrested two smugglers, who have been identified as Jakkar Hussain, son of Fazal Din and Mohd Saleem, son of Mohammad Younas, both resident of Barnot Ramban, at present Kharian.
A case under FIR number 256/13 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation initiated.
