SRINAGAR, Jan 11: Police today said two persons including a minor girl attempted suicide in Budgam and Anantnag districts of Kashmir Valley.
A police spokesman said in an attempt to end his life, a man resident of Magam area of the Budgam district consumed some poisonous substance at his home. “He was immediately rushed to the SKIMS Soura for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman said.
He said a 16 year-old girl resident of Zirpora in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district, consumed some poisonous substance at her home. “She was shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara wherefrom she has been referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
