JAMMU, Feb 28: Two persons allegedly tried to end their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences.
As per reports, 22-year-old Omkar Singh, son of Bhajan Singh of Subeka, tehsil Akhnoor allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, family members rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
Meanwhile, 26-year-old Vijay Kumar, son of Tarseem Lal of Kallas Kullian, Miran Sahib made an abortive attempt to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance.
Family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
Cases have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme steps.
