Two arrested with sharp edged weapons

JAMMU, Aug 4: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested two persons along with sharp edged weapons.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar laid a naka and asked two pedestrians to stop as they were moving under suspicious circumstances.
On seeing cops, the pedestrians tried to escape, but were intercepted after a brief chase.
During checking, police team recovered two sharp edged weapons from the possession of the pedestrians and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Rohit Singh, son of Roshan Lal of Nanak Nagar District Jammu and Aman Charak, son of Padamdev Singh of Channi Himmat District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 217/2021 under Section 4/25 IPC has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
