KISHTWAR, June 15: Police arrested two persons along with illicit liquor and destroyed around 300 litres of lahan.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kishtwar led by SHO Inspector Abid Bukhari conducted raid in Pochaal area and arrested two persons along with 10 litres of illicit liquor. The team also recovered 300 litres of lahan and destroyed it.
The arrested persons were identified as Khouf Chand, son of Ram Nath and Bidya Lal, son of Dewan Chand, both resident of Pochaal District Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 135/2021 under Section 48 A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
