DODA, Sept 17: Police arrested two persons along with stolen Government material.
As per police sources, a team from Doda Police Station laid a naka at Ganpat Bridge and intercepted a Jammu bound truck bearing registration number JK02W-6733.
During checking, police recovered Government material including 40 angles of different tyes, 10 meters aluminum wire, 2 iron hooks and 55 pieces of iron wire and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Qamar Din, son of Mohammad Yousuf and Tanveer Ahmed (driver), son of Qamar Din, both residents of Bagirini District Doda.
A case under FIR Number 192/17 under Section 379 and 34 RPC has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Bishnesh Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftikar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
