BHADERWAH, Jan 20: Forest Department arrested two persons for smuggling green gold.
As per official spokesman, the Central FCR Bhaderwah headed by Mohammad Haroon Khan, Incharge Central FCR Bhaderwah with his team and FPF officials under the supervision of DFO Bhaderwah Vivek Verma carried out search operation in different areas of Forest Range Neru, Bhaderwah.
During the checking, the team seized illicit timber (104.95 Cft) and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Ghulam Ali Rather, son of Mohammad Rather of Marwa and Ghulam Nabi, son of Abdullah Rather of Marwa.
Forest Department initiated inquiry in this regard.
