JAMMU, Apr 17: Two persons have been arrested along with sharp-edged weapons from Gagian area, falling under the jurisdiction of RS Pura police station.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a team from RS Pura police station laid a naka near Gagian and intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered two sharp-edged weapons from the possession of the persons and arrested them on the spot.
The accused have been identified as Hardeep Singh, son of Jaswant Singh of Raipur Satwari and Jagandeep Singh, son of Gurcharan Singh of Chatha Farm.
A case under FIR Number 55/16 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered against them at RS Pura police station and investigation started.
