JAMMU, Sept 1: Bahu Fort police today arrested two persons in assault and murder case of a man.
According to the reports, a 34 year-old man namely Roni son of Idrees Mohd, resident of Qasim Nagar (Narwal) and two of his associated namely Mohd Mussa son of Mohd Shahid, resident of Burma (at present living at Kiryana Talab, Narwal, Jammu) were attacked with brick by two unknown persons on August 29 that caused grievous injuries to Roni.
Roni was admitted in GMC Jammu in critical condition and accordingly acting on the complaint of his other two accomplices, a case FIR Number 215/2020 under Section 307/342/323/34 IPC was registered in police station Bahu Fort and after strenuous efforts by the police teams led by SHO police station Bahu Fort Inspector Deepak Pathania, the accused identified as Satpal Singh alias Vicky son of Paramjit Singh of Sainik Colony and Karan Sharma son of Paras Sharma of Tamilpur Badagaon Assam (at present Narwal, Jammu) were arrested.
As critically injured Roni today succumbed to his injuries at GMC Jammu, police added Section 302 IPC in the case. Further investigation of the case is going on.
