KISHTWAR, Jan 1: Kuleed police arrested two persons and recovered illicit liquor pouches from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Kuleed Police Post intercepted an auto rickshaw.
During checking, police recovered 38 pouches of illicit liquor from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Tariq Hussain, son of Mohammad Abass and Mohammad Irfan, son of Mohammad Ayoub, both residents of Gurrien district Kishtwar.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Kuleed Police Post Kishori Lal made the arrest under the supervision of Incharge SHO Kishtwar SI Deepak Thakur, Incharge DySP Headquarters Kishtwar Nissar Ahmed Khoja and SSP Kishtwar Abrar Chowdhary.
