JAMMU, Oct 17: Nagrota Police arrested two persons for smuggling bovines.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02CD-2627.
During checking, police team rescued 15 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who were identified as Sajad Choudhary of District Poonch and Mohammad Jameel of District Reasi. A case under FIR Number 406/2021 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
