Two arrested for selling lubricant oil by using logo of Castrol

JAMMU, Jan 21: Bahu Fort Police arrested two persons for selling lubricant oil by using logo of a renowned company Castrol Limited.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man namely Mohammad Faisal, son of Mohammad Faiyaz of Gurugram NCR having power of attorney for Castrol Limited that two persons are selling duplicate lubricant oil by using the logo of renowned company Castrol Limited.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 23/2022 under Sections 420 and 486 IPC, 63/65 Copyright Act and 130/104 Trademark Act was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari apprehended two persons involved in the case.
The arrested persons were identified as Akhilesh Vohra, son of late Surinder Kumar of Hari Market District Jammu and Amjad Chaudhary, son of Ghulam Hussain of Panama Chowk District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
